How Coupon Verification Works
Coupon Collection
We collect coupons from retailer websites, email campaigns, and verified affiliate networks. Each coupon includes metadata: applicable categories, exclusions, eligibility requirements, and regional restrictions.
Eligibility Filtering
Before testing, we filter out coupons that don't apply to your product or situation (e.g., first-time buyer only, minimum spend requirements, category exclusions).
Automated Verification
We use automated verification systems to test each coupon in the retailer's actual checkout flow. This ensures the discount applies correctly and captures the exact savings amount.
Results Caching
Successful validations are cached with a timestamp and TTL (time-to-live). You see "Last checked" timestamps so you know how recent the verification is.
How Checkout Works
You Always Check Out With the Retailer
When you're ready to buy, PayLessly redirects you to the retailer's website via an affiliate link. The coupon is automatically applied when supported, or we provide clear copy-paste instructions as a fallback.
Important: If you add items from multiple retailers to your cart, you'll check out separately at each store. PayLessly groups items by retailer and provides one checkout button per store.
